Looks like I have decieded to go with thesses guys http://www.brakeplace.com/index.html for my master rebuild but just one question what should I be looking for Brass sleeves or stainless steels? What are the pros and cons?

Brass is good for thinwall aluminum M/C bores because the sleeve is thinner so less boring. With thick cast iron M/C bores I would stick with stainless steel. Always keep the fluid clean, especially for alum bore M/Cs.

I went we these guys for mine:

Brake & Equipment Warehouse
455 Harrison St NE
Minneapolis, MN 55413
612-767-2629

They are very familiar with the 171 casting and even made some custom pistons for me. They recommened brass as well.

Good suggestion. BTW - He used Brake & Equipment Warehouse too.
