Hello,

The guy from a shop has offered to me Eddy heads build with Indy valves and Pro comp springs and other performance parts for the same price as the Eddy heads with its original parts.

He says that they had troubles with the eddelbrock valves and these are better.
I asked him if they build these heads in their shop and he replied to me that they come from Indy who buys eddy heads as bare castings and build them with other better parts.

Are somebody running these kind of heads?
Are they really better than the ones with eddy parts?

Indy's standard valves are NOT as nice as what Edelbrock supplies with their own heads. I see nothing about those Indy-built Edelbrock castings that makes me think you're better off w/ their "package" head than an out-of-the-box Edelbrock.

I had a set of these heads. Eddy RPM's bought from Indy with Indy parts. I bought them because Indy sold them cheep. I would not do again. I had the heads looked at by my machinist and he told me the parts Indy put in the heads were not quality pieces; You get what you pay for. I had to get new valves, springs, retainers. Additionally the valve job Indy did was not as good as I was lead to beleive.

Thanks a lot Frank,this helps a lot.
Yes, i know people who are running the original eddy heads without troubles,so i will go for the safest way and will order them.

This is just becasuse always is better to get the opinion from the mates before to spend all those bucks.

Thanks again .
