Would a bigger carb like a 1000hp or 1050 QF be any power advantage to me.The car is a 70 Cuda and is street driven mainly with plans to race it now and then. The combo is,
496 rb
10.5 comp 98 oct gas
ported eddy rpm's (don't know flow fig.)
565"lift with 274 @ .050 both intake and ext.solid
440 torker port matched but considering going to a Victor 440
850 holley with choke horn milled off
msd ignition
3300 stall in 727
3.91 in 8 3/4
295/65/15 et streets
Iwould like to get more out of it just with bolt on's for now. Am i wasting my money until a cam change? Planing to get a dyno tune soon but would like to try different idea's.

I would keep everything except the converter, get one made to suit your combination.

Just as an example, our Challenger with an old 440, Indy SR headed, torquer 2 intake motor picked up 4mph and 3/10ths in the quarter going from a 850 to 950 carb. Same day, back to vack swap and no other changes, cam was a .509 using 1.6 arms (.543 theoretical lift) the 850 carb was pretty well scienced out too.
So I would say yes, a 1050 dominator may hurt street manners though and would require a different manifold which may bring about hood clearance issues.
I'd look at a custom 4150 for your application.

BTW, The converter used in the above combo was a 10 inch B&M holeshot. Stalled around the figures you've posted. I agree a converter change would pick it up some too. Rear gear was 3.91, very similar combo barring cubes and lift.

I'll look into a higher stall what do think 3800+. I will contact a converter specialist next week and see what they think.

What ET's and MPH's was the car running before and after? Were they both at the same A/F ratio??

On the morning we had 4 - 5 runs with a best of 12.17 @ 111mph But mainly in the 12.20's. In the afternoon we only got one run with the new carb which was in the 12.00's @ 114ish (Cant remember exactly) Plugs looked a little lean so we upped the jets 2 sizes. Next day we had 4 runs. We ran a 12.00, 2 11.90's and a 11.85 @ 115.5 before breaking out but we were happy to do so , IIRC we went up another 2 jet sizes all round after the first pass.
We didn't run an AFR gauge back then, seat of the pants and plug checks
