Thank You, AmbuLance chaser.

New Eye Glasses for all my men!

Listen, Can't make it any clearer. I have 15x8's with room to spare between the Leafs and the wheels and looking to bring them in close enough for the tires to almost kiss the springs and...

... and nothin. That's about it.

Looking for nothing larger than a 15x8 and 15x10's are Too Big and gawdy for Any Pre-71 B-Body with a stock axle width.

I am with you on those offering up 15x10's when you asked for 15x8 , this is moparts home of those that will tell you what you should do instead of answering the question.

But some have answered your question but you seem to be in DENIAL, and it's not a river in Eygpt ...

I had 15x10's made for the back of my Coronet with 275/60/15's on the back. WeldCraft in Livonia Michigan did them for me. Very inexpensive & looked awesome done.

NICE lookin' car!

Hoof Hearted, I personally dont like the tucked look, but hey, everyone should love the car they drive. Tucked or sticking out, at least you're going WIDE... and really, thats all that matters.

For those of you who weren't quite sure if i was a D#@%head or not, this oughta convince you.

When it comes to most 66-74 cars, I like the Day one look with few exceptions. To be truthful, i've grown quite bored of this car and really never liked 68-70 Coronet body styles, but the price was right and I had the money to put into it.

I have a nice looking turn key clone that runs consistant high 11's. I've lost 30lbs since 2nd week in January, getting cabin fever up here in the northeast with this winter and been actually thinking of selling the car to finish the inside of my garage and buy another project, perhaps 68-70 RR/GTX or E Body. I mention weight loss cuz mentally i'm just in a different place than I was over the past few years and figure a loss of 100lbs might make the car faster.

The car never lets me down but I'm bored with it. Stupid huh?

Hey, it's cool, everyone is entitled to their own taste. It's all in how we share the view.

Was under my 69 RR yesterday, I have the old 15X7 police wheels with old Micky Thompson L60's. A tire too big for the wheel, but there's less than an inch left to clear the springs and 1/4 flange per side.

I'll buy those 15X8's from Summit as sson as the spare cash is available. Thanks for posting whoever did that.

The 15X10's do look like they're more than needed and the Plymouth wheel opening isn't as high as the Dodge.

As far as being bored with your DONE/NICE Mopar, maybe it's time to move on to another project as you mentioned. I find the whole planning, searching for parts and building to be alot more fun than sitting on a lawn chair at a cruise. Build a street/strip car and you'll never be done. Always something to tune, upgrade or finesse.

Sounds like it's time to trade it for something else or sell it. I'm the opposite, a triple black 69 RR was my first mopar and I now prefer the coronet over the satellite body, you can't swing a cat without hitting a 68/69 RR at a show.

Ya See, I disagree. I had the same setup 20 years ago on my 70 Challenger, Air shocks blew out and tore up my perfectly sculptered Bondo'd rear quarter wheel lips. White smoke everywhere, you'd think I ran over Scarface himself. It looks Butt ugly and Stands Out Too Far. If it makes you feel better, refer to my original post and dilema and you'll see clearly I want them tucked in a little more.

If I wanted the "Rear Wheels hanging out past the wheel well look" i'd drive a quarter mile up the road where I saw a perfectly good Racoon tail attached to what used to be the rest of it's flatenned bloodied body, Lop it off and hang it from my antenna to go with the Fuzzy Dice hanging from my rear view mirror and rainbow "peace" stickers on all the windows.

The 80's are over and the 70's, well...

I'm glad you had the chance to post your R/T. You do have a terrific looking R/T there, Love the red interior. Would look better with the rear wheels tucked in.

I think you need to have your glasses checked , those wheels are NOT hanging outside the quarters and the rear is not jacked up. The Dodge B body has some big wheelwells and you can tuck a big tire inside, he was just showing you and option you could consider considering you are going to have the wheels MADE the way you want them because you aren't going to find them in the junkyard .

hoof hearted,
As JohnRR pointed out these do not hang out of the wheel well & do not rub & no air shocks. 15x10 w/ 5.5" b.s. fit awesome. I had the same on the back of my Charger when I had the Cragars on it.

If you move the tires in that close standing still you will rub the springs with the tires if you ever make a turn. I had a set of 15 x 10's and Protrac N50-15's on the back of my 64 300. They were about a quarter inch from the leafs standing still. Didn't take long before the leafs had a nice shiny spot from tire rub. You may want a bit more clearance than that.

They say there are no such thing as a stupid question.
They say there is always the exception that proves the rule.
Don't be the exception.

I have some 15 x 8 steel wheels ( just like the Ramcharger wheels ) with a 4 1/2 backspace.
I can get other backspaces made , you tell me what you want and we can go from there. I would take your 15 x 8 orginal wheels in on trade.
