I want to make a rod out of my 32 plymouth but my car is to nice to cut up. I am looking for someone that wants to make fiberglass bodys of them. I will let them use my car to make a mold for a glass body. Anyone know any glass guys that would be interested.

Eh, just cut er up! The really nice ones make better hot rods, you don't have to fix any rust.

Is it safe to stick my head up above this wall yet?

Sure is a nice looking car, and it would be insane to cut it up. Hopefully someone will take you up on making a glass reproduction mold from your car. God luck finding someone that can and will do it. Gene

Making a FG mold out of that is a BIG project ...and there would have to be a GOOD market out-there for it. I am no street-rodder Xpert ... but I don't think there IS a market for that car.

NICE car you have though ..

I would guess that to make the molds for your car would be in the $10K-$20K range for the body, doors, fenders, splash aprons, deck lid,gas tank cover.no one makes a frame for a 32 mopar that i know of, custom ones can be made.
your car is beautiful but I believe the 33-34 body style is
more popular,
a few companies were making them in glass a few years ago.
coach and chassis had a coupe and a cabriolet(and a PU i think), they sold off their molds to Tom Bryant(PlyDo)he has since passed away and I don't think any bodies were built by them

and Redneck sold off his molds because he said there was a low market for them compared to the fords that he makes, the guy that has his molds sells the body on ebay some times.

A 32 mopar would be a good addition to the market but might be hard to get someone to step up to build the molds.
check with Outlaw performance and see if they might be interested, they make great pieces and have cheys and willys, maybe they would like to have a mopar as well

I figured if I don't ask if anyone wants to I will never know. Ida auto is right down the road I need to stop there and ask. I know they make willys and tuckers. My car does not even have a rot hole in it lots of litle dings and dents. It has a worn out 1967 paint job but I like it better that way. There was a 32 pa coupe that a local farmer drug out of his yard for 500 close to me. It needed every thing redone. I should have picked it up but I keeeped draging my feet and it went to the scrap yard.

Beautiful car! In my opinion, don't rod it. Find one that's kind of beat and rod that. I looked for my 34 for over a year. There aren't enough guys out there wanting one, to justify making glass bodies.

that is a VERY nice car ! i, myself would NOT hotrod it. however, mopars are not really worth much restored, and are more valuable when rodded. that being said, maybe you could retain the original chassis/drivetrain for a future owner and have art morrison do a modern cad designed chassis and if you utilize a smallblock powerplant, very minimal firewall tinwork would be required. then, you or a future owner could easily restore the car if the mood strikes.

My buddy has a 32 in his garage. Its a street rod and all steel and nice.Biggest problem is he is a chevy guy so it has a sbc in it.Its been sitting there since at least 93.Its probally 98% done with PWs pop opens extensions for battery in case it dies and you need to open the doors etc.Interior done painted.Cant understand how he just lets it sit.Another buddy had a 32 also. When he died his family buried it and a bunch of other cars as they didnt want to find the titles.Thats one nice looking car.Rocky

Search on google...a few years back someone made a mold for an early 30,s
Plymouth because his was too rotted to work with. He posted many pictures and it was a really good read
