i was wondering if anyone has used the john covans thunder road dash panel for e-bodies? they seem to look pretty good and im not worried about having a stock apperance since i no longer have a/c and my heater switches are relocated in glove box. I was interested about how good they fit and price dont seem to bad either. thanks for any info!

Oh-oh I think you just cost me some money. Looks good to me.

Here's the link. http://www.covansthunderroad.com/ They have E-Body panels with or without guages.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

It would cost way more than that to have my stock cluster repaired and restored and then I would still have the stock, inadequate guages. I was planning on making one out of aluminum but this looks like a better plan to me.

They look nice. I have been thinking about doing something with after market gauges in my Challenger since it is no-where near stock original anyway. But why would you go thru all of that effort & not offer them in the factory gauge arrangements both Rallye & non-Rallye gauge arrangements?

I am ready to order the Thunder road dash (70 Challenger), but wanted to ask (one more time) if anyone has pictures or good / bad reviews of the Thunder Road dash pods?
Thanks
