If it's a '70 E body disc brake master cylinder don't even think about sending it to White Post. They use the wrong kit to rebuild and it won't work!!!!
I've used Brake and Equipment Warehouse in Minneapolis and they have done well for me and know these "'9171" MC's well. Also Pete's restoration, he is a member here, was restoring the '70 disc brake E body cylinders correctly.

Yup, they will tell you that the kit they use is correct and trust me, it is not!!! Your front brakes will be applied as soon as you bolt it in place on the booster. The pistons are too long. I paid WP around $200. for the rebuild/sleeve and then bought the correct kit from ns1aar which corrected my problem . Now, I have over $300. into my master plus the cost of the core, which was not cheap to say the least

Thanks for all the suggestions and now another question. What should I be looking at Brass sleeves or stainless steels? What are the pros and cons?
