Nice looking job. What process did you use to get rid of the rust on the roof?

I used a product called Picklex on it after I used a DA to remove everything above the sheet metal. The Picklex gets in the pores and turns the rust black.Time will tell if it works I guess.
Thanks for all the positive comments guys.

Looking great! I've got a soft spot for these. I had one in the early 90's, all original '74 360 Duster with 48k on the clock. Needed a resto but was all numbers matching. Would like to have it back...

Here you go Tom.Keep in mind the engine was in the car when it went to the bodyshop so I have a lot of cleaning yet to do.
It fired up yesterday and ran 6-7 minutes before the top tank of the radiator started leaking from a small stress crack near the filler neck.Need to fix that before I run it any longer.

That engine compartment paint is pretty clean for 37 years old.

Looks good! You're right Dave not bad for 37 years.

Shouldn't that car have a bigger radiator?

It should also have power brakes, but I don't think he's done fully converting it from it's former life as a /6 car. Sweet ride. I'm still diggin' that color.

You both are correct. The car should have a 26in radiator and power brakes. The radiator in there now is a 74 318 a-body radiator.Didn't want to hack up the core support if this radiator will cool it.On the brake side of things, unless someone is going to donate a correct a-body booster and associated bracketry, its going to stay manual disc. That stuff just isn't laying around anymore like it used to.My old 440 dart had the same set up and I had no issues with stopping.
