I just purchased a rotisserie restored 64 Belvidere. The car is an original big block four speed car. It is white with a black interior.

I would like to install a 426 Hemi in the car and install a glass hood with a race hemi scoop. I already have the scoop.

I would like to know the best source(s) for purchasing a glass hood and all the pieces to create a 64 Hemi S/S car. Cross ram intake, carbs etc.

Thanks in advance

Mike

You will need to start here. http://www.kramerauto.com/index.htm

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Try contacting Greg Lane, too. http://racehemi.maxwedge.com

He's has parts (NOS, used and reproduction) and knows a lot of people with parts for sale.

BigDad
I would like the car to be streetable but run in the 12's so that it can run in nostalgic super stock. I know cars in that class run much faster but I don't want an all out race car. The car retains it's original sheet metal and the only modification that has been made is that subframe connectors have been welded in and grafted to the floors and painted body color like the rest of the floor pans. It is very well done and people have to look twice to notice that it has sub frame connectors. I will psot some pics soon.

Mike

BTW nice car !!

Ok, post some pics of it if you can

NSS has some specific rules, so ..Make sure you check them before you go a wrong direction on the combo

I know most require cross ram intakes ..
Fiberglass hoods in my expericance do not stay looking nice for very long so, if that matters
go look at a few on cars before you buy one

Good luck with the old gal !
