Hearing the dull thud of a Steering Gear Box dropping on the cement garage floor inches from your left ear is not a sound you'd want to hear twice in your life! Don't ask me how I know this!

"Never gun the throttle lingage on the carburator when adjusting the idle speed because the manual for your 75 Chevelle says to adjust it in drive. The car will jump the 4x4 chunk of wood you used for a wheel chock with no problem. And if you happen to live across the street from a bluff you could come very close to exploring the woods below if your not hanging on to the steering wheel with your legs hanging out the door while your trying to shift the transmission back into park(it will just keep going).

Never do this if you're adjusting the idle mix on a 66 Charger, while it's in reverse with the parking brake holding it back. Gun the engine once, & the car moves back about 1'... just enough to stop the car right on... one foot! The only way to get it off? Gun the engine again...!

180+k '81 225 1-vs and moderate grades do not mix, especially in 3500 lb bricks, despite right foot in water pump and in direct in your OD-4 with 3.55 gears out back.
You MUST wait till the thermostat opens on a 225 to attempt even a slight refill. Not doing so will cause coolant to be expelled, ending up everywhere, including the sides of fenders.
Driving '71 Darts in 100+ degree weather sans carpet will make you feel like a cooked turkey, especially if the heater is turned on high to keep temps in check. (The car wasnt mine, my Buddys I helped retreive).
a trans pan filled with black fluid and many shavings does not mean the fluid was never changed, it indeed was. It really means that its even worse than trans coming out of your 1974 Monaco with busted low/reverse band.
Trans swaps on gravel suck if said trans is worse than the one you just pulled out of said 1974 Monaco.
