I am looking for the correct carb gasket for my 1970 Cuda 440-4 with stock intake and freshly restored Carter AVS 4740. Please lead me in the right direction or who might actually carry this part. I have tried local stores and they keep coming up with a gasket that is about 1/16" to 1/8" thick and I believe the correct one should be 1/4" to 5/16". Thanks Chad

Yep, it's the thick one. Did you check with Scott Smith?

Yes. He is the one who restored the carb for me and told me that I need the thick gasket, but he didn't have the gasket and the source he thought about didn't carry it either. Thanks Chad
Check with Frank Badalson.

Look into the Mr Gasket vibration isolator carb base gaskets. Check out their web site.

Looks a lot more like what I need than the local parts rookies have come up with. Is there a part number on that part? Thanks Chad
