I am looking for the correct carb gasket for my 1970 Cuda 440-4 with stock intake and freshly restored Carter AVS 4740. Please lead me in the right direction or who might actually carry this part. I have tried local stores and they keep coming up with a gasket that is about 1/16" to 1/8" thick and I believe the correct one should be 1/4" to 5/16". Thanks
Chad

Yep, it's the thick one. Did you check with Scott Smith?

Yes. He is the one who restored the carb for me and told me that I need the thick gasket, but he didn't have the gasket and the source he thought about didn't carry it either. Thanks Chad

Holley makes this one in 1/3"

Summit - Holley 1/3" Gasket

And I think Holley also makes a 1/4" gasket.

Look into the Mr Gasket vibration isolator carb base gaskets. Check out their web site.

Looks a lot more like what I need than the local parts rookies have come up with. Is there a part number on that part? Thanks
Chad
