Where are you running the Alternator? Is that just the mopar small block MSD crank trigger? Didnt know you could mount it on the driver side.

BSE is Brian Smith Enterprises. (408strokerdart)
I'm not sure if he still makes them.

I don't run an alternator. The plate is drilled to mount
a STAR vacuum pump and catch can.

both, and they eliminate some of the stress on the block.

I talked to Brian over the winter about doing one of his motor plates but he couldn't get enough guys together to have a run of them made... Maybe if we get 8-10 guys who want one of his he'll make a run of them now. I'll buy one...

Yeah....really need a run of about 6 or more to make them affordable. We can customize them also. Most off the shelf plates barely go to the inside of the frame rails on a-bodies. This is what spurred me to make my own since it wanted it to go across the top of the frame and fit correctly. If I get enough interest I would do another run of them.

Brian, I'll take one to put a SB in an A-body if you do another run. Im not sure what the specifics of my accessories will be yet but Im going to be putting an R block-based SB in my Duster and want a quality motor plate.

Can anyone recommend a motor plate that works well on a 9 inch deck R-3 block with a Weber belt drive? The water outlets on the block are a little different.

Thanks!

Unless you can find short deck w/p spacers (RARE).........it would be cheaper to make your own engine plate.

Bump for a 9.56-9.6" R3 block in a Duster!

Still dont know anything about the engine accesories lol. There will be a vacuum pump and an alternator on it, no power steering. Electric fans and water pump.

You mean like this? We can make motor plates for just about anything, including the new HEMI engines.

SBM Dakota with a fixture for an alternator? Probably oddball but would be nice if I could get one. Need a hefty alternator because its ok on a street driven EFI app.

3/8" plate is $175. The Pentastars (or your initials or whatever) is a few extra bucks. Everything is waterjet cut. Call 314-435-3461 for details.

Give us a call 314-435-3461 We can make your plate and fit it for an alternator. We probably do more "oddball" stuff than we do "normal" pieces.
