I recently bought a 69 Satellite(not a Sport Sat)It has all of the factory side moldings in place. I was wondering if the molding for the GTX attaches with the same clips in the same location?
I always thought the GTX moldings were better looking and they are repopped now, wondering if I could do a simple swap? Thanks, Lee.

The satelite molding is wider and I'm almost certain mounted lower on the body than the GTX. Back in the day I shortened a satelite wheel upper molding to fit my GTX. The good news is Metro Parts repops the moldings and clips for the GTX. They're on their website and ebay.
