I've been on the list for many years (I don't remember how many) and I'm #43 (42 or 43). I need the linkage for a 71 b body bench seat as Jamie said that one was still being looked at. I haven't bugged him in a while, but I plan to stop by his booth at the Nats for an update.

As soon as I heard about the 855 I emailed Jamie which I think was about 5 years ago and I got mine in April. My pics are in this thread. I have over 600 miles on it now and very happy with it. All I can say is that it was well worth the wait. My cost $5,275.00 + shipping to CA and like I said before absolutely no issues installing. Jamie did a great job developing the 855.

I have been on the list since Mopar Nationals the year it was announced. I can't even remember now if that was 2010 or 2011. I was in the upper 80s, and the first 100 were to be A-body transmissions.

Interesting that the McLeod "Muscle Car 5 spd" that forced Jamies hand still isn't listed for Mopars and can only handle 500 ft/lbs of torque. The only options for Mopar guys are still a beefed up TKO 5spd with CF syncros or a 6 gear Tremec and a plasma cutter (either way). Resto mod guys will still have to wait.

I think interesting does not cover it, more like misleading and deceptive.. If not for this Jamie might have had more testing time and had his tranny out sooner without the pressure to produce it too soon..

I don't know what the big deal is about having to mod the crossmember
You can buy a brand new one and put it in down the road if want to return car back to stock
No differnt then putting a frame rail in

I am saying he would have spent the time testing and working out the bugs rather than trying to supply the finished product too soon.. Seems as if I have read about a fair amount of teething problems due to not enough engineering and testing time..

I can draw pictures for both of you if you need them?

So the first 2,3 or 4 years is not enuff time to work out any issues? Ok I understand now. Being that having the orders into the hands of the people that has been on the list for several years now (yep that's a issue)
True Story. I have a face book friend that wanted one for his charger. Told me he called them (that day] and was told was a 6 month back order (it's been Lil over 6 months since he called)
He asked me what I thought about him waiting 6 months for it. I told him is guys been on the list for several years
The deal is......why are people being told they are a 6 month back order??

Topless: please stop trolling the thread. Children should be seen and not heard. You have nothing positive to contribute so we would like you to stop posting like a child.eek

It's quite apparent you do not understand what it takes to bring this wonderful product to the market and how much it cost up front to make the product move from the blue print to the machining centers. You also seem to have a lot of spare time on your hands.

How much money do you thing it cost to finance this major undertaking?
It's deep into 6 figures. Where do you think this money came from?
Do you have six figures to finance this operation. Put up some money or be quiet. whistling

Having torture tested Jamies 4 speeds for many many years on the road course [130mph+] I can attest to the quality of the products and the integrity of the business.
drive

I have consulted with Jamie on this project from the beginning. I am not at liberty to divulge the details but you topless need to quit WHINING and go away along with the rest of you so called enthusiasts polluting this thread.

No transmission for you! troll

I'm shocked. I actually got a call from Passon this past Friday stating that I was on their list and If I was still interested. I don't know if they were updating the list or if it was my turn. I just politely said I had already bought a T-56 Magnum from SST. If I knew I could have got an 855 within a month I still would have bought it but the last time I called in I was still about 6 months on the list out.

I got the same call asking if I was still interested...The girl said I was number 182 (or something like that) but I may move up from people dropping off the list. Just had my 833 rebuilt to fix a leak and a grind into 4th. Not sure what to do if they call again and say it's my turn. For now I am still on the list.

I was called also. It was Thursday when I re'cd the call. Couldn't take the call so I called back and Jamie answered the phone. He didn't give me any promise time but I am still on the list and a willing buyer. I've run a 5spd in the chicken before and all I can say it is a blast to drive and get it out on the highway. I'll stick with Jamie on this one!!!!
