Anyone know where I can find the correct collar/pin set for my original dual point (prestolite) distributor? Mine is broken in two...this is the white nylon collar that is on the shaft at the base of the housing - held on by a roll pin. Thanks, Dave

Do not know if they're the same but was able to buy a new one for the electronic ignition distributor from MOPAR.

Never saw an origional Prestolite dual point with a plastic collar.If you want a steel one I can fix you up.

I tried using an MP collar on my stock 69 RR distributor. Can't remember if it was plastic or metal, but when I tried using it I had to shim the bottom because the roll pin hole on the MP was in the center of the plastic collar. The stock one was of centered. You can shim it with some shim washers.

If it's at all like the other distributors you can get a nylon collar at Lowes that is perfect. A roll pin can be had at the same place too. You will have to drill the hole in the nylon collar but you have to do that with the MP kit anyway.
