Anyone running old school slots like Ansen or any Cragers on your mopar race cars. Can you post pics if you got them? Do most of you guys just use the new stuff? Does this old stuff not hold up?

Got old school Centerlines on my Roadrunner and they are still holding up fine. I'm 29 years old and I am willing to be they are older than me! There is nothing wrong with them but I would rather have newer style wheels just for the look aspect. Don't really care for these old school ones.

They are timeless in my opinion....the rears are readily available to find...but the 3.5 fronts arent easy to come by. I love the looks of them and they are the finishing touch for nostalgia...
Here's our 64 Valiant wearing them....

I agree, I have been conisdering some ansen slots for my cuda. I got 15" rallys on it now. Im looking to go 15x10 out back and 15x4 or 5 up front. I like they way they look on the old school drag cars from the 60-70s

Old school I guess.. I bought them over 20 years ago. Just regular old polished Centerlines.

Replacing them was on my wish list for many years but the almost $2K price tag for an up to date set of wheels stopped me. I always seemed to find another place in the car to put that cash chasing an ET

I got you on the cash part. I was looking at the ET rims and they are like $300.00 a rim! They do look good, dont know how much they weigh though?

Ansen 15 X 3 1/2 with a 4" bp I picked up at a garage sale for $50. Ya gotta keep a sharp eye

There's a guy who shows up at the local swap meets with a set of 15 X 3 1/2 Super Tricks with a 4" bp. At $500 for the pair he gets to keep hauling them around.

I don't need them THAT bad.

Be really careful buying wheels at swap meets: My estimate is 2/3's of the wheels being sold are junk (bent, cracked, etc). And take your own measuring stuff, as some knobs will tell you ANYTHING to make a sale.

The one's our our 64 Valiant.... Are 4.5 BP...We found them on a 69 Super Bee that had a Hemi in it...the car had a wiring fire in 71 and burnt the engine compartment and interior up. The guy never got rid of it. His nephew sold us the wheels after he passed....but would not sell the rest.....so ours are pretty low milage.

Satin Centerlines here, early '80's I'd guess been on there since I'd bought the car.

Probably one of the least expensive and readily available new.

These are Vintage American 200S. The 10" were easy to find. Finding the 4" is another story. They used to run them in Top Fuel and Trans-Am. I figured a Nostalgia car should look nostalgic.

Fronts ar 15 x 3 1/2 Fentons and rears are 15 x 8 US Indys that I had widened to 10" Rears you can find but the fronts are real tuff and can bring big bucks
