rg69charger OP member R Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 16 North Carolina	I have an original console out of a 69 Charger that is tan now. I'd like some help on how to get it black. Not sure if its original color or not. Thanks, Randy

Golden-Arm I Live Here Joined: Apr 2010 Posts: 10,570 Sunny South Florida	get some SEM plastic cleaner, then use some SEM plastic dye, (from an auto body supply house) and follow the directions. they make the best stuff, for coloring vinyl, plastic and other types of interior trim.... ahy master A Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 7,664 IN	Agree SEM works great. In addition to the cleaner and dye, they have an adhesion promoting primer that basically softens the surface of the plastic slightly so the paint really takes hold. All three together are available from Eastwood in kit form.
