SPWC OP master Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 4,102 Cochise County Arizona	The change im talking about is the "tubes" for the spark plugs. I know that there was a year Ma Mopar did away with them and used a regular style spark plug hole like most other engines. The reason I ask is because the 72 Swinger im getting soon doesnt have the "tubes".Could this be a later engine or at least the cylinder head??

slantzilla Too Many Posts Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 20,163 Park Forest, IL	It could also be the '81 and up hydraulic motor which had a different head than the '75-'80. The bottom rail of the valve cover is straight on the '60-80' heads, on the '81-'88 heads it has a little "step" that would be by the alternator bracket. "Everybody funny, now you funny too."
