i sunk the battery box down into the trunk floor to keep it from moving around, to keep the weight as low as possible, and to gain some trunk space.

I couldnt find a holddown bracket that I was happy with so I made one from Aluminum that forms to the top of the batery box.

Because I set the driveline angle to 1 deg down as apposed to 3 deg down I had a issue with the TTI headpipes hitting the floor. not to disturb or ajust the pipes in any way, I sectioned part of the floor over the pipes

I proceeded remove the drip rail gutters.Because the pinch weld will be removed the roof will come loose from the car,So What I did is cut 2 inch sections at a time. Leaving the roof attached, I added a good tack weld between the sections ,then cut the rest of the roof rail sections off.

With the window channel in place, I made some aluminum brackets to hold the rear quarter windows in place. Like a coupe.I plan on only power windows for the front.

I added universal power door lock kit,I thought it would be a neat addition. .These are available on Ebay for $20 or so I made some aluminum blocks to mount it to. I didn't like the metal mounting strips that came with the kit.

I took a challenger trunk latch and 68 Imperial remote trunk mechinism and modufied it to fit the cuda. Now I can weld up the trunk lock hole. I plan on a cable to pop the trunk just in case of emergency.

I mounted some spring loaded plungers to the inside of the door jambs so when the door popper pulls the latch that the heavy cuda door pops out

John,
I haven't been following the build lately. Very nice progress and some remarkable features!
