Anonymous Unregistered A	I don't understand your question. What engine are you working on? What kind of distributor? Normally, distributor caps "dont hit" the valve cover. "They" are just made that way

ryan053 OP pro stock R Joined: Aug 2003 Posts: 1,345 Rohnert Park, Ca	its a 383 with a msd distributor and fabricated aluminum valve covers. I can get a credit card in between the cap and valve cover? How much clearance is acceptable?

Lefty master L Joined: Sep 2005 Posts: 6,516 Santa Cruz, California	I had to grind the Mopar Performance aluminum B/RB valve covers alot when I installed a Pertronics billet distributor. A credit card gap would have made me happy.
