What is the best 3" collector gasket? I have ceramic coated headers and exhaust what gaskets are the best? Just a street car. I have heard that copper is good. thks garymac

Its the only place I use the copper gaskets.Had them on the headers and they leaked like a sieve.The collectors seal good with them.I use Summits as they are cheaper than a name brand.Rocky

Copper with copper hi-temp rtv. Eternally reusable and blow-out proof. If your collectors step down in size buy the copper. If the exhaust pipe is the same size as the collector you can run any gasket since there should not be any restriction at that point in the system.

If you don't want leaks buy REMFLEX gaskets

I used the steel reinforced felpro ones over and over with out any problems. I had bad luck with the mr. gasket white colored ones.
