Anyone know if there are reproduction units available for the linkage that joins the brake pedal to the booster?

Thanks

Erik,

I don't know of any being made as a repop. There was a pretty good thread on this a while back. I bought one on Ebay that was said to be for an E-body and found that it would not work on my car w/o modification. I then found another one that would work. I'm still not sure what the issue is unless one is for a 4 spd car and one for an Automatic. Just make sure you get the right one.

EDIT>>> HERE's the link Erik. https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...rue#Post4329801

Cool, thanks Joe. I'll have to do some more digging around to make sure I get the right one before I spend the cash. I'm need it for a 70 barracuda and I'm using the power booster from a 71.

Do you have pic of the one that wound up working for you?

Yes, I haven't installed it yet but this is the one that will fit my car. My car was a 3 spd manual brake car. You can see that the shaft on one side is longer.

It's longer like the one in this photo posted by another board member.

This is like the one I bought first and does not fit correctly. You will notice the shaft is shorter. I could make this one work..(Rig it) but I'd rather it be correct so I'm using the other one. A friend of mine has a 72 RR automatic car with manual brakes and from the photos he sent me it looks like this one would fit it perfect.

The boosters had 2 different bearing I.D. One bigger than the other on the back that attaches to the linkage so make sure you have the rite one,
