Would it be a five bolt rear end?

Dana 60's are 10 bolt rears and usually 8 lug patterns a 3/4 ton should have this type of rear.

Were trucks ever fitted with passenger Dana 60's?

I have seen 5 lug dana 60's out of some vans, but the bolt pattern was not 4.5 inch circle. Are you sure your not seeing a 9 1/4 dana? They were installed in cars and trucks, and can have 5 lug pattern

Haven't seen the truck yet. Was just wondering if it was possible. If the vans had dana's I guess it would be no problem to get new axles so I'd have the 4.5 bolt circle.

3/4 ton pickups=Dana 60 8lugs

3/4 ton van in '79 (can't speak for any others) 5 lug 9 1/4 and I wouldn't call it a Dana!

3/4 and 1 tons were full floating axles. Somewhere torches and welding are going to be involved.

I pulled a 5 lug dana 60 out of my 70 road runner , it was out of a van but had 5 lugs and no floating axles. Perches were of course reversed from car perches. This was a factory 5 lug, but not sure what yr van. It is still around in someones car now, I didnt want the 5 inch bolt pattern. The width was off also. This was back in the early 80's when I got this rear. like 81 or so
