the wheel will be a 17x10 rear fm5. they have a 20mm offset with 6.25 backspace.

will this spacing work with a 67 b-body. car is a charger.

im sure that backspace will need a 1/2 in spacer if im thinking right.

front will be a 17x9 with 24mm offset and a 5.95 backspace.

looking to see if they will work or not and if not what can be done to make them work. i can get them cheap right now.

I don't think 67 Chargers have as much rear clearance as the 68-70's because of the fender skirt design. But might be more than 66/67 Coronet/Satelites.

The front fenders I'm pretty sure won't take too much tire. Don't know if you could do 275/40/17's. 255/45/17 might be the narrowest on a 9" wide rim. You need to run about 5.5 to 5.7 backspacing (.5 spacer) to maximize the space up front.

Lefty has wide 17"or 18" tires on his 67 Coronet vert. That has the same front fender as your Charger. He would have great input on what you could fit.

Edit. Here is some info I found on Lefty's setup.

Don't know if the spring are moved in.

Read this thread about 66 Coronet rear tire clearance:

https://board.moparts.org/ubbthreads/show...rue#Post4393738

Does't look too promising for 10" rear rim width.

Is the car jacked up in the back at all? Is the car lowered at all?

You can run 5.5 backspace in front. You'll need that much for outer fender lip clearance. But you need to have flat style upper ball joints. Yes, there are two different styles of upper ball joints, that function totally the same. And you can get both styles out of the same part numbered boxes.

Read here: http://www.moparfins.com/CLAIRDAVIS/Cobra_Wheel.htm

I'd like to see a 1st gen Charger with wide meat all the way around lowered some looking like a mean Road Race machine. Like a vintage NASCAR.

The super rare little ducktail spoiler on those is cool too.
