This is a cool car that a friend of mine in the old hood in Detroit bought in 1978 for the grand total of $800.00.I did a bunch of work on it and made it driveable for him on a real tight budget. He has not driven the car since 1983. It is a real cool one of a kind color combo and highly optioned car. Here are the details. B5 Blue with white interior.340 Six Pack with a 4 speed. It is a 3:91 Posi. Rally dash w/tach. Six Way Seat. Fast ratio power steering. Power disc brakes. Both painted racing mirrors. Tinted glass all.Rear window defogger. Am Fm stereo. Light group. Fender mounted turn signals.Trunk light. It has 56,000 original miles on the body. The original engine and trans are long gone. They were there out of the car on the garage floor when he bought the car.The engine had a spun bearing but the owner wanted to keep it for another project. He had a built low 12's 440 ready to go anyways so it did not mater back in the late 70's. It is a real solid car. It has all of the original sheet metal. He has the original hood But I have to do some work on it before it goes back on. He does not have the funds to restore it right now and we just wanted to get back in driving condition for now. The way it feels it should run low 13's. It is a 440 with a nice 509 hydralic cam. Edelbrock Performer RPM. MSD Ign. Headers. 4:56 Old School rear end. 2500 Stall Converter. This was done on a very very tight budget. I had to do a lot of work after sitting all these years to get it road ready after all these years but it was worth it to see it going down the road once again. It has had one repaint back in 1980 out of his buddy's garage. The engine is very crisp and responsive. The car hooks hard. This one has been off the radar until now. I am glad he was able to keep it all these years. He has been thru alot of hardships, divorce, jobs etc. Enjoy here are a few pics I took as he was driving it home and you could not wipe the smile off his face.

Thanks 6Bl. It is cool to see him smile again.I forgot to mention he used to Street race it on Livernois and Warren at White Castle's in Detroit back in the day. His cousin used to race a real Plum Crazy 70' Hemi Cuda also back then.

I don't know the guy but it's great to see the car on the road. I'd sooner see it running with a 440 rather than waiting 20 years to restore it, then losing interest and selling it anyway.
