I have a 75 duster slant 6/4spd overdrive 833. It currently has atf in it for lube. Is this correct or should I put some gear lube in it. I noticed my speedo cable starting to click on the tranny side. Are they related?

Restoring a car to look "only" as good as the factory made it is like getting a boob job for your wife and having the doctor make them two different sizes to seem more natural

ATF is what MaMopar put in mine originally and it works for me.. tried some Mobil ! synthetic in my friends Duster and it wouldnt hardly shift when it was cold. changed it to ATF and all is well..

I am truckless..
