My nephew just called and he has messed the motor in his 90 Dodge truck up. What all will interchange with it. It is a 4 wheel drive. he is supposed to pull the motor and bring it to me but he is wanting to get it back together as cheap as possible. He is leaving for the Navy in a couple of months and don't want to spend alot of money on it. I think he would probably be better off getting another motor that is in good shape and putting rings and bearings in it.

He was 4 wheeling in there pond with it low on oil and now it smokes very bad and uses alot of oil. I think he has broken some rings, he is still driving it so I am sure the cylinder wall will look real nice. What all will fit, I know it is throttle body injected.

any tbi teen would work up to 92

not sure when the tbi started on trucks but any roller cam teen would work

any sb will fit but the tbi not work with an older flat tappet cam

any from a car thats tbi will work just needs the oil pan and pick up and hardware from the truck engine

if ya can any flat tappet cam teen that has the roller block that will work with the cam in the bad engine swapped over

I got a 88 4-v 360 headed 318 that was a flat tap cam...but a roller block...I swapped in some 1990 roller lifters and hardware on a lunati voodoo roller cam...used all stock valve train from the 90 teen

oh! and watch the early pre-magnum rollers...not all have the oil threw lifters...that 90 will have hollow push rods and oiling lifters and oil the old LA style shaft rockers

at least the 90 I tore down was oiling both ways...they were getting ready for the magnum engines

a magnum engine would work also, they are the same all but the heads and intake...pop his heads on the mag and bolt and play

good luck!
