hi,

am getting a new tank, straps, j bolts. i was told that the straps are unfinished, and that it is best to either have them zinc plated or spray a clear finish on them, otherwise they will rust over time.

what do you do?

just from condensation in the air will cause them to rust over time, even if painted. I would have them plated or buy them in stainless
