Picture is of 3 different throttle cable brackets: The one is for B/RB; second one fits a small block intake; third one fits on the back two holes of a small block intake. Is there a difference between 2bbl and 4bbl brackets?

I believe the 4 bbl retaining nuts thread from the side instead of downward

I guess another question would be why the difference in location between the 2 small block brackets? Year difference? 2 or 4 bbl difference?

I'm not gonna be much help, bu there are differences between 4 barrer versus 2 on all engines. But what applications you have shown I have no idea, than the obviously small block one to the far right

318 small block on the right, 360 small block in the middle.

I removed this from a '79 360 2-bbl in a Magnum:

And this one from a 318 2-bbl in a '79 Volare Duster:

I haven't found a 360 4-bbl bracket...yet.

I would think 2-bbl and 4-bbl brackets are different, due to the narrower width of a 2-bbl carb. I had to modify a 2-bbl bracket to get a good approach angle on the throttle lever with the factory throtle cable.

That appears to be a 2-bbl bracket with dual clamps for the throttle and speed control cables.

Most certainly is a difference. The 2v mounts will have the throttle cable clamp farther rearward than the 4v ones.

Look at where a 2v throttle linkage (on the carb) sits in relation to the rear of the engine. Then look at a 4v setup. Because a 4v carb has the throttle linkage farther forward on the physical carb, Mopar used a throttle cable bracket that also moved the mounting point for the throttle cable forward as well.

Clear as mud? If I get a chance this weekend, I'll see if I can show ya what I'm talking about.
