I am sure this has been answered a thousand times...but help a brother out here please...
15 x 7 rallye, the only markings by the valve stem are 2944390. Then, on the inside of the wheel "852" "M4 over 0" "15 x 7 JJ" "22" and a 2 in a circle, upside down...

The m4 over 0 means it was made in 1970. You should have a single or double digit number on each side of the valve stem for month and day. I snagged this pic from a previous post. I think Snoopy posted this.

thats weird...these wheels do not have any stampings by the valve stem other than the 2944390. All the other markings I listed are inside the wheel...In other words, the part the tire covers...

I have an early wheel with the date codes and no part number. I think it's a Aug 69 date.

Sounds like you have the perfect wheel - it has the right part number and could be right for a wide range of dates.

I have two 14x5.5 rallye wheels that are exactly the same. Dated 1970 with the 2944 252 part number stamped above the valve stem, and that's it, no month or day date code.

This is wierd, I found the date codes on three of the 4 wheels. they are all 10/19/70. The stampings are on the oppisite side of the wheels from the valve stems !!! Isn't that wild !!

I wonder if all the wheels stamped on 10/19//70 were like this...not only is this an original matching set of 15 x 7 wheels, they are oddballs, all made same day !!!
They came off a 71 GTX and still have the original brushed trim rings and dark argent center caps !!

I just checked my two 14x5.5's and they are the same as yours! I never noticed the stamping on the other inside lip of each rim, they are both Sept. 22, 1970. It must have been a more than one off occurance with these rims.
