Looking at headers today for the 67 baracuda.

Options:

78' 360 motor with J-style heads.

4 speed w stock Z-bar and linkage.

Mini starter-no prob.

Kevko 6 quart pan, supposed to have no clearance issues.

Here's the kicker:
TTI's website says will not fit quick ratio steering pittman arm/ idler arm deal.

I ran it by Hedman and they said the same thing, plus the hedman would require me to grind some stuff on the Z-bar, and modify a shift linkage tab and bend a rod.

Do I have any options other than having a set fabbed up somewhere to clear stuff, or should I just bolt my old steering gear and pittman back on?

I wish I had a set of used headers to dry fit under there.

summit headers has a similar full length deal. i rememmber light massage fitting in my 4sp equip, with some suspension disassembly. but no steering interference.

i will be hard getting to a spark plug or two. get 3923 autolights or eqiv 5/8" hex plug. because you have no room.
