Alright, I'm a little baffled with this one. I know most q&a is about older mopars, but this one is my daily driver and I need it to commute to work.
Its a '90 LeBaron with a 3.0 OHC V6. It started to skip and sputter and jerk violently, and sometimes stall out when I'm going down the road.
I changed the oil and filter, spark plugs, wires, distributor cap and rotor button, PCV valve. The air filter is clean, and I recently had the catalytic converter cut off and replaced with straight pipe. The converter was nearly clogged. And where I live, emissions laws a practically nonexistant.

Still, no changes. Plus, it started sucking fuel like a small block. Also, when I to gun it, it starts losing power, and then leaps to a massive burst of speed.

Friends have told me it could be the coil, the oxygen sensor, or, at worst, the computer.

I'm getting tired of constantly spending money on this thing without results, and figured I see if anyone here would know anything before I decide to trade this thing in or sell it off.

Any help is appreciated.

Glad to be back in the hobby.

Instead of throwing parts at it you should see if it has any codes.Easy enough to do. Key on off twice followed by key on,just count the flashes. You can interpet the code at allpar.com.

Once you've checked the codes, there are some great junk yards around here. Check out http://www.pullapart.com

I've been to both locations in Atlanta and the one in Augusta.
