Hi,

I've got an '89 shelby CSX (nee, turbo TIV dodge shadow) w/ 4 wheel disc brakes.

My question is why when it sits for long periods (month or more) does the brake pedal lose all feel and go down to the floor? Then, after a few miles in the neighborhood of stop and go, the brakes improve? What is that telling me? I do plan on new rotor/pads in the near future...

Thanks moparts crew!

Chris

Sounds like the MC to me. If it is a rebuilt, there is your problem ... hands down. If it is the original, then you might consider a NEW MC (not a rebuilt unit).
