I keep seeing all sorts of stuff for these mufflers.
Can't tell what I need.
I am dropping a magnum 360 with the stock truck manifolds on it, and would like to run 2.5 inch exhaust all the way back.
Someone said it should be offset inlet with a centered outlet. Is that right?
I can't seem to find any like that. Seen a few centered inlet and offset outlets though. Can they be reversed?
I want really quiet exhaust. It is for a vert, so I don't really want the screaming exhaust or drone everyone else keeps getting.
Someone suggested dynomax turbo's, but again can't seem to find the right offset.

Thats what I used on my Coronet I have headers with 3 inch out the back and the mufflers tuck up to the floor before the axle and the rest bent almost like factory. It really came out nice. But use the the offset with center and you should be good. You could probably use any manufacture of mufler depends on the sound you want. I used flowmater 40s . deep and throaty.

Yes, that's the way the factory did it.

Dynomax 2 1/2" offset inlet, center outlet:
