67 Coronet 8.75 rearend s/s springs in stock location 3.73 gears. I'm currently running P245/60r-15 on Centerlines. I would like to put together a set of Tires and wheels to run Street/Trophy class on the strip so they have to be DOT legal. Let me hear your recommendations. What should I do to increase my gear ratio with out changing my gears.

I think your rear tires are around 26 1/2" or so diameter. I would think that's very close to the diameter tire that came on these cars originally..7x75x14...so I don't know if going a bit smaller tire is really worth it for you..I wouldn't go less than 26" diameter though...To gain effective gear you usually go smaller tire. But that depends on your cars power band. It might run out of steam top end with too short a tire, you have to have an idea what the car wants...
I guess you will be looking at a drag radials...can't help I run slicks at the track, but this will bump it...Maybe better if you posted in the race section...
