I just purchased a new air grabber switch and just out of the box there only seems to be about 1/8 inch travel on the switch. Is that normal or should I suspect something is wrong with the switch? Or does it make a difference if it is hooked up to the vacuum? TIA

Thanks for the information. Apparently my switch is defective as it doesn't travel even as close to the one you demonstrated.
