gtx69 OP super gas G Joined: Jan 2003 Posts: 1,476	Trying to decode intake # 2205737 my book dosen't show that no.It,s suppose to be for a 361.I would like to know what year and car.It's a 2 barrel intake.Thanks

Adding 40 to the first two digits of a Mopar part number gives you an estimate for when that number was first used. It does not give an exact year. If it was exact we would have waited until the mid-70s to have multiple carbureted 440s & 340s. A large number of '70 e-body parts are 34xx xxx.

The 300 had a 383 2-barrel standard, and the New Yorker a 413. De Sotos were gone and the only 62 Dodge or Plymouth that had an available 361 2-barrel was the Dodge 880 and that was introduced much later in the model year.
