My mom is driving home tonight, and she can't figure out how to make the hi-beams stay on (it's the school's car). She says that they come on when she pulls the switch back, (the one on the collumn that also goes for the wipers too) but they go back to dim when she lets go. What's the trick?

Push the stalk forward, it just flashes the highbeams when you pull it back.
