Base circle cam in a 59* Small Block with factory cam bearing bore. Also, what is the lift on the cam. I'm thinking of increasing the base circle on mine, being I have to buy a new cam.

Yeah, it's got a smallblock.

If I understand correctly, the base circle is dictated by the
cam bearing bore and lobe lift.

The more lobe lift, the smaller the base circle.

Obviously it all has to fit through the cam bearings.

The largest one I have is the comp cams "RX308R-8".
Not sure what the base circle is, but it is for a standard block. 275 @ .050" 284@.050" .658"/.661" lift with a 1.5 rocker.

I do not have this cam in my engine currently, I could check the base circle size later today...

Why do you want to increase
the base circle?

Sorry, had to work.

The new lifters I bought have .050 less seat height and I don't want to extend the adjusters out too far.

Yeah, it's got a smallblock.
