I'm going to change my pistons to the KB-107's and they have the floating pins.Do i have to get my rods bushed for floating pins or can i use them as pressed fit pistons.

Use can use them as pressed fit. You just have the pins installed in the rods with an interference fit and no keepers in the pistons. The pistons are designed to go either way.
I floated mine unbushed though. We've been doing it for years with no problems.

I have a set of wiseco floating pin pistons in my truck that have been installed by pressing them in instead. Not worth the extra hassle and money to rework a set of stock rods for the floating pins. My crank grinder has been doing them this way since the 70's and it's never been an issue.

There is no power gain with floating pins. The only gain is ease of replacement of a piston if needed. Also if a pin should score either in the rod or in the piston there is still one pivot point so it should not throw the rod. We floated as we had access to the pin hone so floated the rods.

Clean it, if it's Dirty. Oil it, if it Squeaks. But: Don't fix it, if it Works!
