I am looking for the stock cam specs for a 1968 dodge charger 440.

Mopar Perf. lists a resto cam #p4452783: 228/241 @0.050", 115 centerline (is this the lobe sep angle??), .450/.458" lift.
Comp Cams lists a "factory id" cam #21-305-4: 222/226 @0.050", 110 lobe sep angle, .464/.464 lift.

Does anyone know what the real stock cam specs are for this engine or where to possibly find it? One would think this info would be available somewhere. Thanks a bunch!!

PJ

The Mopar "resto" cam is bascially a re-grind of the original cam. The Mopar cam specs are the same as the original cam. The Comp cam is "their-own" improved version.

The mopar cam says 115 centerline. Is this the Lobe sep. angle...or something else?? Thanks again

Centerline is the intake lobe centerline in degrees from TDC. This is what you would use to degree the cam. The separation angle is the difference between the intake lobe centerline and the exhaust lobe centerline.
