I just bought my old 1989 grand fury police car back. There are two gauges missing. Is there anyway i can get a picture of the gauge cluster. I am trying to figure out what the top right gauge was for? Also what does the oil pressure gauge at the bottom of the cluster to the left look like. Mine is missing and need to find one.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

Here's an '85 5A, and it looks like a water temp gauge in the upper right pod, and a wiper switch in the lower left pod. I can only make out a half-circle warning light in the bottom right pod...

Yep.The right upper small pod is the temp guage.
The left lower one is a rear window defrostor.Right next to it will be a blank spot.In Police cars, this blank will be used to install a small aftermarket oil pressure guage.
I got this gem for 172.50!! Note 200 KM/H speedo, and genuine Tuff Wheel I intstalled. The factory wheels in the 80's were fugly..

here.
In the four-pod, you have:

Top Row, Alt (L), Temp (R)

Middle Row: Idiot lights in the lower halfs of the gauges. IIRC, they are Door Ajar, Gate Open (wagon only, they kept it), Oil Pressure and Brake

Bottom Row: The left one is blank, but on AHB (cops) they usually are punched out for an aftermarket oil pressure gauge. Right one is defogger on '80-up cars.

That one picture looks like you got it reversed that its the left one thats for the defroster and the right one is blank. On older ones the blank one is where the windshield wiper switch is. Usually police cars had a plate over the whole thing that the switch and the oil pressure gage was in.
