sounds like you have a plan, not like me, i went to a big car show and come home and dismantled my car down to a shell, and i spent the last 3years pieces it back together , it is better to have all the parts, i have spent alot of money because i needed the part now, and no time to shop around,
that coronet web site is cool, i have not been there, i will sign out , hope to see ya soon, keep me posted on the project, i may be able to give you some advice,

Randy

Looking great Randy! Really starting to come together nicely.... Great color combo, should be quite an eye catcher..

look at what i scored for the project, a 69 f440 , complete reman. motor, been on crate for 2years, never installed, i bought from a guy who got it from the original buyer who owed him some money, i could not even buy the rebuild kit for what i got this thing for, so now the 73 440 comes out and the almost correct motor 69'440 goes in, it is the c-body 350hp motor, i am going to bump up the cam , 750 holley, headers, and about a 2800 stall , already have 3.55 sure grip, i will give up date, i got to sell the current 440 to finance the new motor

Car looks good. This has me thinking about painting my '68 coronet plum crazy instead of B5 blue when I get to that point.

Great work on your car man. I'm on the same boat. I understand what it feels like. My whole family, besides my dad, thinks I'm stupid that I devote so much time researching and wanting to restore a car but in the long run it is something you build, enjoy, and create memories in. What's wrong with that?
