Hi all, Was a member here about 8 to 9 years ago ,but sold my 66 satellite, and got away from mopars for a while. I started building jeeps and that has since got old, and got the mopar bug again (never really lost it). So I traded my 90 jeep YJ rock crawler for this 69 barracuda. It has warmed over 318, 904 trans and had a 7 1/4. the first weekend I had it, I blew up the rear end in the garage, trying to test the stall on the coverter. Twisted the end right off the pinion gear. What a small rear axel!!! The car came with an a body 8 3/4 rear with 3.55 gears. I just need to get some Ubolts and shorten the driveshaft to finish the swap. Still need a few things to make the car a nice runner, Still need adjustable rockers, and thinking of getting a 2800 rpm stall converter.

Here is a pic of the jeep I had

I think the greatest thing about our hobby is that you can always buy something new for these old rides. Congratulations on the trade and have fun with it.
