If I understand your question correctly there aren't any brackets that hold the buckles. They pretty much just lay on the seat. If you're talking about where the belst themselves mount they are bolted to the floor. Hope this helps.

On the verts there are not any plastic clips for the rear seat belts they just lay there. Don't know why either.

My '68 and '69 A body 'verts both have the false latches on the front edge of the seat bottom, next to the floor. It would be curious if B bodies did not use them.

Why would they not be there? What's the reason that the lower rear seat cushion on a convertible can't have them?

My 69RR convert didn't have them either but when I got the car the rear seats had been redone. But I figured that like the majority of BBodies, they were destroyed or lost over the years. Well over half of redone cars don't get them reattached when the seat is reupholstered. At least that's my experience on the cars I've owned over the years. Typically only the orig interior cars still have them. A lot of car owners never knew they were even there.

I have looked at no less than 20 bare rear seat frames of 69 convertible rear seats. Bare frames. The holes are not there and neither are the indentions in the frame that are there on the hardtops and sedans. Mine is original rear seat frame, no holes or indentions.
Pull your seat covers back and look yours are not just left off they don't exist.
Say whatever reasoning you want they are not there.

I'm not trying to pick a fight, and I'm not saying you are wrong. I'm just saying, the A's are the red headed step children of the Mopar clan, and it would be unusual marketing for them to have courtesy features the more expensive lines did not have.
