I know there is a template for the late model swap, but I need some up close install pics, no matter how I play it, the late model nippondenso alternator doesn't line up on the water pump pulley....can anybody help with some pics?

got them on my BB

try flipping it over and use the single ear as the pivot point

thats how i did the one on the 440 with the MH non a/c brackets

fine tuned some spacers and lined the double groove right up

moved the batt wire out away from the head,so no grinding like some of the older posts talked about

i did add a couple inches to the adjuster swing arm with a bend so it would not hit the alt case

let me look I have some pics on a post and pm that was sent to me for a sb IIRC





goody had a good write up on his on the sb,think he gave me the tip to flip it over

the archives have a template you print out for a sb also

i got a couple ruff cut ones already done,need a good clean up and some finish grinding,want one?

What exactly is the black housing for? I have the same setup, and am trying to clean up my wiring. Is that the regulator? Or just fuseable links?
