How do you get the key lock mechanism out of the column? im trying to replace the ignition switch in a 74 challenger 318 car

Take the top of the column apart. Are you wanting to change the lock cylinder or the ignition switch?

I have it all a part but it looks like i need to pull the lock out before i can get to the ignition switch
