69 Superbee factory tach and MP ignition system?? #78631

I have got a factory tach that dose'nt read quite right and I wondered if it was because I have a electronic ignition and not the old points set up. The tach reads slow and and wont read any lower than a 1000 RPM'S. How can I fix it so it works correctly?
