A fellow airbrusher on another forum that i'm on
needs some measurements of the C stipes on a
1970 SuperBee.If anyone that own's a 70 Bee and could take some measurements for me of the
dimensions of the C stripe it would be greatly
apreciated.

well as many measurements as possible,what Howlingmine wants to do is get the measurements so he can duplicate the stripe on a project he is working on.It's not a car but if we have the original dimensions and widths he can then resize in proportion.Like how long is the upper& lower stripes going forward from where it curves,how thick is it at the wider part and how narrow does it get at the tips.the more measurements you can get the better.You can PM howlingmine since he is here now and he can tell you if he needs any specific measurement.But he want's to duplicate the stripe with paint and get it as close to original proportions as possible.I told him the Moparts members are very nice and helpful and that this would be the place to get the answers to what he is looking for.

What I am mainly looking for is the outside diameter of the circle around the "bee", the width of the smaller stripe, and the total height and width of the thicker part of the "c" around the "bee". If that makes any sense. When I get more time I can edit one of your photos and re-post so you will have a better idea of what I'm looking for.

Any help is appreciated, this doesn't have to be perfect, it going to be for a garage sign/clock. I'm not working on an actual car.

hopefully you can tell what I am looking for from this picture. Just ignore the values that Corel Draw put in for the measurements, they are to scale with the size of the picture. I need the measurements from the real car.

to replicate the corel #s you drew up...

the 5.17" is actually 13.75.

the .070 is acutally 1/8

the 2.40 is 6.50

the 2.20 is 6.0 even

the .51 is 1-5/8"

the distance between the solid part of the decal and the pin strip surrounding is 1/4.
