...between the M1 4150 and M1 4500???

Have read that a M1-4150 flows better then the 4500, but still no power comparisons.

If you have room...many think the m1 4150 with a dominator adapter is the way to go.

You gain more plenum volume going this way

Alrighty, thanks for the info guys. Have the option to use either one. This is going on a 451 with a Dominator carb, so wanted to know what our best bet would be.

I am running a stage 6 m1 4150 with the adaptor and have been looking for a m1 4500 to get rid of the spacer but am I really better off with the spacer? I might have to go to a bigger scoop since I cant fit a air cleaner on it now with the 4" hemi scoop.

Can you test both of them before making a decision? From a simple flow perspective, the 4500 version is better (based on my testing years ago). However, the 4150 + adapter / spacer combination may (repeat MAY) still work better. But there's only one way to know...

I cant test. My 4150 intake is ported and also had some angle milling on the flanges so it would be a job to buy the 4500 and have all the work done to it to try it out.
